Hi
For hours I've been trying to install Debian 9 on my second SSD on my computer. There's an issue, I can't fix.
Problem right after installation
I can't boot (get black screen) because of some nouveau nVidia driver issue. Idea: Add
nomodeset to the parameters in grub, so I can install the proprietary nVidia drivers (which should work better) and reboot.
Tusb3410 driver for windows 10. Following the instructions in this article https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-install-the-latest-nvidia-drivers-on-debian-9-stretch-linux I did this:
After that, I get the error 'Oh no! Something has gone wrong.' with a Log out button. After pressing the logout button I get the same error again (loop).
lshw -c display says driver=nvidia after installing the drivers (and not nouveau). So that seems to work at least.
